Weekly markets

Weekly markets in Provence

Scents and colours… Those two words epitomise our provençal markets.

There is everything to delight the eyes and titillate the taste buds: fruits and vegetables, scented Provence herbs, olives, goat cheese, cured meats, olive oil, jams and honey…

Our markets afford a wonderful opportunity to go out and meet local producers and enjoy their produce from one season to the next!

La Barben market

The market in La Barben is held on Saturday mornings in Place Forbin.

Carefully selected merchants offer high-quality products and sound advice on using them. The square is a great place for villagers and visitors to meet, followed by a pleasant coffee break at the café in the square.

Pélissanne market

The Pélissanne market is held on Sunday mornings along avenue du Général de Gaulle and avenue St Roch.

Local arts and crafts and specialties as holiday souvenirs, fruits and vegetables, ready-cooked dishes and flowers… Come and enjoy the pleasure of strolling down the market’s colourful aisles.

The village of Pélissanne was awarded the Parasol d’Or prize in 2012 for its Sunday market as a testimonial to its organisation and the special effort made to promote non-sedentary commerce.
